I work out of Chicago.
Do you know if BMO would be considered a BB in Canada / MM in US?
There are only so many banks in Canada. BMO Capital Markets constantly ranks 2nd place. Or arguably 3rd.
BMO is a BB in Canada same way Macquarie is a BB in Australia. Definitely behind RBC in most aspects though.

these numbers for US look insane. corporate bankers are paid only 60-70% that of investment bankers over here where i'm at
What? If they're at 150 base and 50% bonus, they're at 225k. 225/.65 = 350k, which is right around what i bankers make.
So you think 1st / 2nd year associates (most if not all the above data points are coming from Asc 1 or Asc 2's in Corp Banking) in IBD make ~350k?

Here is what I’ve made. Started in 2016.
1Y Analyst - $75k + $40k bonus 2Y Analyst - $82k + $45k bonus 1Y Associate - $110k + $60k bonus
I should also note that my colleagues in New York are the same pay rate. So I got a pretty good deal in Houston
1st year Analyst -------! That's really good for CB. What were the hours like? And I'm assuming CB was housed with IB?
