Corporate Exits : May 2024

A big issue on the corporate side seems to be a lack of standardized pay/transparency around it. There have been threads on this in the past, but the past few months have seemingly seen an uptick in positions both on the corporate side and on the banking side so I would love updated numbers for fellow analysts/associates looking to exit into corporate roles. I would love to get data points on the following :

  • Previous Experiences: what you did before taking the corporate role(i.e. 2 years of IB as an analyst, MBA -> 2 years IB as an associate, etc.)
  • Role: What role do you take on and what position (i.e. associate in corporate development or associate in corporate strategy,  associate strategic finance, etc.)
  • Type of company - what's the size of the company and sector(i.e. F500 tech company, PE backed industrial company, etc.)
  • Location - where the role you took is located(i.e. NYC or Chicago, etc.)
