lol... this question is like asking "Can I get into a BB IB position from a non-target or semi-target". There are people with 3.9+ GPAs that could be rejected by HBS. And similarly people with lower GPAs that get in because they have interesting backgrounds/strong leadership profiles/great work exp and etc.
Please provide more substance/context of your experience and address it to the experts (e.g., Alex from MBA Apply or Stacy Blackman). But until then - the answer is "it depends"
Dumb question. Their median is 3.67 (it will probably go up this year due to the first entering 2+2 class), so there's plenty with below a 3.5. Having said that, HBS cares A LOT about college gpa, moreso than other top programs. So you would need to reveal more information about your credentials before anyone can make an assessment.
New program that was launched to snag young superstars who otherwise would have gone to Phd programs, med schools, law schools, etc. You apply for it during the summer after junior year of college. If you are accepted, you have to work for 2 years after college before entering HBS, hence the name 2+2. You are not allowed to enroll in another school during that time; you have to be working. Also, they don't accept business majors; it's heavily geared towards engineering, science, and some social science.
The first class was accepted in summer 2009 and will enter HBS next fall. Their average GPA is around 3.8.
