COVID-19 Effects on the Job Market (Most sought out industries) In the Future

Hello,

I am currently a sophomore attending a university in the US who is in the process of preparing recruitment for investment banking for 2021 summer analyst and looking at mostly BB/Elite Boutique in NY.

I understand that this whole virus situation is going to have lasting-effects on the job market and especially for people who may potentially be getting FT offers or are seeking for FT jobs, but this also had me thinking how it would affect potentially early-birds in college who are taking the job-search seriously and for people who are to potentially receive offers after the 2021 summer internship.

Any input would be appreciated.
