COVID-19 - How to Prepare for A Career In Time of Crisis?

I graduated in 2007 and witness the collapse of Lehman Brothers and Bear Sterns. Merill Lynch got taken over by BoA. Being an international student in New York at that time, I managed to get my career in track eventually even if it has taken longer than I expected. After 13 years, now in 2020, it feels like a déjà vu all over again. COVID-19 has caught us by surprise and we may be entering a recession and perhaps a short of a period of depression, then a much longer period for full recovery than expected. So how do you think things through given that you have been dealt with such a series of unfortunate events especially if you just finish your undergraduate studies?
