CPA vs. CFA for M&A
I love M&A. I love working M&A. I want to continue working M&A. But.....I know that in order for me to become the stud that I want to eventually be I need to up my credibility and ability so that I can achieve that financial stability. ;)
I have been tossing around the idea of pursuing either the CFA or the CPA. I would appreciate any wisdom as to which designation will help advance my career. Keep in mind that M&A is where I want to be. CPA or CFA?
Thank you in advance for any replies.
Part time top 10 MBA? Weekend top 10 MBA?
CFA= HF/Investment management
CPA=accountant?
So your saying neither?
for investment banking M&A advisory, usually a CPA or a CFA are unnecessary. in what capacity are you working in M&A? i know some pure valuation shops that value both designations.
btw... you're probably getting the monkey shit because this topic has been discussed quite a lot. try using the "Search" function.
