Crazy/stupid to work through college right now?

I am going to be a junior next year at a non-target. Currently I am a SA at a multi billion dollar hedge fund and have accepted a SA EB IB job for next summer. The fund that I work for currently wants me to stay on during the school year and work for them. I am most likely going to do it but am wondering if anyone on here has any opinions on this. I am worried that I may regret this when I am older but due to COVID-19 I feel like I am not missing out on much as school is gonna blow this year with all the restrictions so I might as well work and continue to get experience and make money. I am very social and usually out at least thurs, fri, sat which I think is still doable while working. For background I am a Div 1 athlete so I do spend a lot of time training etc. and my schedule is usually pretty tight but waking up early and staying up late has never been an issue for me. Love to hear what people think about this.

I wouldn't do it. I'm not sure what D1 athletes are going to be doing with respect to practice for this year, but I think that it'll be rough. IF you weren't a D1 athlete then you'd probably have a lot of time and flexibility given the hybrid semester. Easy way to get paid too and they probably wont have you busting your ass too much.

Will there be practices? If not I think that doing it probably wont be a bad option. A D1 athlete with extended HF and EB experience will allow you to go a long way. By working here you'll probably have the ability to try to get a return offer for FT or even work again next year during the school year.
