Curious to hear thoughts on HSBC Coverage Relationship Management SA in terms of reps in the U.S., specifically NYC. Would love hear details about comps, hours, etc...

the CRM @ hsbc ,which is under its global banking and markets umbrella, is more so the role of a coverage banker where you focus more on the client side of ib rather than the more technical modeling stuff etc that traditional ib interns to.. Should be a good experience to get overview of all the products of an investment bank and hours are better than traditional banking as well.
P.S: dunno about nyc office in general, - heard it from a U.K. connection.

HSBC CRM is under Investment Banking. It's basically the name for the firm's coverage groups.
US rep isn't too strong. One of HSBC's major selling points is how they're the "JP Morgan of Asia" so don't expect too much US dealflow.
