CV bullets for IB intern

I recently finished an internship in IB. What would you recommend putting as bullets on the resume as an IB intern?

I did the typical intern stuff (pulling multiples, creating profiles, creating outputs, formatting slides, admin stuff etc.). It is quite difficult to point to specific outcomes of my work, especially as none of the deals I was on were closed during my internship. Thankful for any input.

One good way to handle specific outcomes when you didn’t close deals is some variation of “informed [x decision].” For example, lets say you were on the buy side. You spread multiples and it showed the transaction price would be way too rich. You could say something like “spread transaction comps which identified that the transaction price would be x% too large for the client. This led to the client not putting in a bid.” Obviously you’d say it better than that but that’s the idea.

Now, if you have nothing to point to, no first round bid, no withdrawal from the process, etc, you have to get more creative. Did it lead to a request for additional DD? Did it lead to a change in consideration of how to finance the deal? Language like “supported the client’s decision to x” can be a useful way to put stuff on your resume when what you did is one of many supporting elements of a decision

Wondering if anyone has input on this question but for a current SA who is applying to FT positions. How should I present my experience when I've had little work so far?
