Jefferies HOU back in the day used to pay close to that due to that office having a separate bonus pool from the rest of the bank - not sure how much numbers have changed since then. They get crushed there tho lol my roommate used to work there

OP also forgot to mention their bonus numbers per litquidity

An1: 130k base. 75k stub + 50k signing = 155k total

An2: 140k base. 170k bonus = 310k total

An3: 150k base. 200k bonus + 200k A2A = 350k or 550k total

I suppose this means the 200k A2A bonus would be paid out in August starting in their third year? Let me know if I am mistaken

I think I like banking but after seeing these numbers might consider throwing in a lateral app.

How do you know this? They're looking to fill a 2022 FT spot right now is what you're saying?

You and me both brother. Let's plan it out lol. I'm going to be at a low tier BB this summer not sure if that's good enough to make the jump. Heard FT recruiting is hard asf

Comp is just insane. It seems like they just want it to make no financial sense for their analysts to leave for investing seat. The analyst 3s making 560 pre tax with the A2A bonus…

How does the bonus payout work? When do they receive the stub bonus and the An2 bonus? Is it year end for both?

What type of bank did you friend SA at? And was he diversity or no? NYC office for CVP?

What non targets? Just asking because the incoming intern class is pretty target heavy

Wait what? I thought most firms pay analyst bonuses in July/August? Assoc/Vps get paid in December no?

Funniest

CVP almost paying 40-55% of what prop traders make now damn.
