Data Science Major/Minor

Hey guys,

I was wondering your takes on majoring/minoring in data science. My current plan is heading to IB when I get out of undergrad, so I know maintaining a high GPA is key. Still, a degree in data science or QSS is attractive to me because of the added flexibility it will bring. Especially if I decide to pursue a Ph.D--->quant funds, or get a career in something else entirely, I feel like data science would be really beneficial.

If I stick with my current plan, I would probably do something like IB--->Corp Dev/HF

Of course, the caveat is that my GPA is likely to tank a little due to the extra rigor. Or I will end up sacrificing my social life for it.

Any opinions would be helpful. And thanks in advance!
