Base Is lower than what I currently make, but bonus potential is much higher. They bonus on a per deal basis.
Yes those exits would be out, given you're solely doing sourcing and not any deep analysis/diligence
This would be a career for someone who want to be in sales but wants to stay close to PE. Not a pathway into traditional PE/HF investing.

My guess is lower than what you're thinking.. sales-based comp is fine if you are selling a quality product, maybe I am jaded but the sourcing companies I see are mostly trying to sell shitty assets no one wants, which is not a fun situation to be in. The people make very little and leave quickly.
If you're still considering it, I'd ask how many deals their recent ASOs have closed per year, and diligence if they have high turnover
