Curious to know as well. Senior MDs on CNBC and BBG keep saying teams are busy, dialogue with clients has intensified, etc. but still no pick up in activity

 

As soon as companies start getting FY23A together, you'll see a sizeable pickup in volume. 

No one is going to go to market having TTMOct23 in January when they could push back a month and have FY23A in February.

My group is dealing with this for a few of our sell-sides. Just waiting on FY23A to be finalized and then it's off to the races.

Im an analyst in PC so never had pure m&a experience but I find it tough to believe that the timing of finalized audited financials would affect m&a deal flow at all

 

I've been on 6 deals since November, just rolled one off and added another. M&A at a regional Bank. All my deals are 
$50-$300 EV. Hours aren't bad (double staff analysts and good culture).
