Deciding Between Offers
I am a non-finance sophomore at an Ivy League interested in going into ibanking. I received an offer from a Fortune 500 pharma company doing HR Analytics. I am not sure if I should continue searching for finance internships or take the offer. I have a couple (small) finance interviews coming up. Thoughts?? Thank you in advance.
I would keep searching for finance internships if I were you. You want to have applicable experiences to talk about when you're doing interviews.
This internship is not related to IB and will raise more questions ("why do you want to do IB after an HR internship?") than it will answer. Getting a sophomore internship at a large bank is tough. I would suggest trying to reach out to boutiques. Not sure which Ivy you're at, but Boston, Philly, and NY all have many boutiques.
Usually deciding between offers implies multiple offers
