Wow man, that really sucks. I was just bitching to myself about having to pull an all-nighter tonight for a midterm, but you really put things in perspective.

I say get as much REM in as you can, but you'll feel like absolute shit when you hear that alarm go off after an hour.

Do you get to go home early today, or is this another normal day?

F'ing insane. I need to enjoy my sleep while I have it.

"recently a guy played 45 hours non stop games and died due to a heart stroke"

not sure what a heart stroke is but not a bad way to go.

Go get that one hour and stop wasting it by posting here buddy (although we do appreciate you thionking of us :)

Wasn't he some korean guy? Played games in an internet cafe (probably starcraft) for 45 hours then had a heart attack. He was only early 20s as well.

I'd do S&T but I don't think it offers me the long term career choices I want and i'm not talking about PE exit ops after 2yrs either.

powernap. 5-10 minute ones. those make people more alert, but remember less....the longer the nap, the better their memory, the less alert.

GameTheoryI'm beginning my third day of a back to back all nighter. I have to be up for at least an hour, but I can squeeze in an hour of sleep between 8 and 9. Yay or nay?

I'd use it to jerk off and then you will have a new set of stamina

Yep. When you send a package by car, you have to wait for the phone call from the driver to say it was delivered. You can't just send it and forget about it. That is some of the most miserable time, when you've been up for days but you can't sleep because the effing driver hasn't called yet.

When the driver calls, you send a courtesy note to the recipient to let them know it's with their doorman or on their front step. Then you crash into some of the world's sweetest sleep.
