I had known my now wife for a year before we started dating. We were close friends that met through work, realized we lived really close to each other and went to the same school which made it easy to be friends and we spent all day together. That's when I decided to make a move that led to us dating. 5 months later I proposed and we were married 6 months after that. We both realized there wasn't anyone else we wanted to be with and neither of us ever wanted to not be with the other. Some might say it was really quick but it didn't matter, I truly feel like when you know, you know. We both knew.

I don't know if there was any "aha moment" where I realized I wanted to marry her, I just knew I didn't want to be with anyone else ever again and marrying her made perfect sense. She felt the same way. We've been married over 5 years and have a kid now.
