I think you should send them your grades. Even if they're appalling, at least you'll still have a chance of getting the position. If you withdraw your application, you're automatically reducing your chances to zero.
Small chance > zero chance

if you send them shitty grades, you will get rejected in 90% of the cases if its a BB or something, try to get around it somehow... it will not work if you send them the grades
(this is only my opinion/experience so...)
what are other options?
p.s. id rather lie/forge transcript than withdraw the application... for me withdrawal is not an option it could work if its a boutique/mm firm... dunno but if it is a mm firm, bad grades could work as well and that might be a better option for you
It's a BB. Should I just ignore their request then? They haven't asked for a transcript, just grades to help them process my application.
no, they emailed you asking for them, you need to provide something... if it is just for internship, you have 2 choices, either to lie or to send them real ones ignoring is not an option
think it through they might slack on the background check if its SA position, so it might work... and that usually takes a while so.. man i dont know... if it is for FT, send grades and write a good explanation why they are so bad (something that they will buy)
It's for a SA position, will probs have to lie then. I don't think I'd get in anyway
i mean, you weigh the risks.. ill get monkey shit for my comment above probably, everybody here will advise against it (and they could be right)
but id do it if i were in your situation what the hell.. go do interviews, meet people, get an offer, then come back and lets talk again then you should rethink - how bad you want it, any other offers, etc.
if nothing, it is a practice, and nobody will know (background checks start later, when you get an offer or sth) (im going to get MS for this as well lol)
spoiler: yeah, i do not have ordinary morality
How bad are they? If the rest of your resume and your university grades are really good, maybe it isn't that big of a problem
