Desperately Need College Transfer Advice! (Successful Ivy Transfers, Please Help)

Hi all,

I'm currently at a relatively high ranked non-target college. I would like to transfer, but I know that the reason for transfer is a very important part of the application process.

For Wharton, it's fairly straight-forward - I want to pursue finance, and my current school does not offer that. However, for Yale, Columbia, etc. I'm having difficulty finding a "valid" reason for transfer (econ/math major).

Also - should I say that I'm interested in IB, or are Wharton/other ivys tired of the typical Wall Street "money hungry" type. Would it be more beneficial to say I want to take another less common route?

Thank you!
