Didn't Disclose My "Beer Incident" On Campus

Hey guys, kind of a silly question but with background checks coming up for me this was bugging me a little. A couple years ago as a freshman who had just crossed into his fraternity, I bought a bunch of beer to meeting in my backpack (which we were incidentally having on campus that day) and as fate would have it, I got caught due to some RA's who were walking by the classroom we were in. Apparently they saw me pull out a bottle from my bag and treated the whole thing like an FBI raid. Basically I got disciplinary sanctions from the school- which basically means if I fuck up one more time in terms of disciplinary problems I'll be put under further review whatever the fuck that means- and the dean of student conduct told me this will be on my record for 5-7 years (school record, not criminal record). I didn't disclose this during my interview or when I signed my contract but just to be safe, I wanted to check whether or not this is something I should reveal prior to the FINRA background check or the bank's background check. Thanks for any feedback.

PS. Yeah I realize it's retarded so let's leave that part out :)

I realize that this debate has been had many times on this forum, but HR has fucked me so many times for my non-target background this past SA recruiting season (they made that pretty clear when I would follow up with them) even though the professionals went to bat for me- I wouldn't be surprised if they power tripped and pulled some shit like that.

Like Mephistopheles said, the guys who hired you (be that MD's, VP's, even the lowly analysts who chimed in...) aren't just going to forget that they offered you a position if you don't show up on day one so HR would have to say something to them about why you didn't pass a background check. And even if HR only told the lowly analyst, I'd guarantee you that he/she would go to someone higher up and say HR dinged thatbankeroverthere because he got caught with beer at college. Now I don't know the inner workings of big firms but I'd make it a special point to get that HR person fired for both wasting my time and for being an asshole.
