do bankers work on friday before christmas?
Curious to see if bankers work on the friday before Christmas?
Trying to figure out if this MD ignored my email, or just wasn't in the office lol.
I have emailed this MD before, and he's usually pretty good with response times.
Sometimes they do, but it's pretty much a guarantee the MD saw your email and thought "no way I'm dealing with this shit the Friday before Christmas". If you emailed me I know that message would be ignored for a while unless I was bored out of my mind and had to be in the office or something.
What about the Monday after Christmas? Can I expect them to email me back? If not, would it be rude to email someone else in the firm if they don't respond?
Lol ...
How far apart are your follow up emails? How many of them can you send before it starts to get annoying? Lastly, when are there usually downtimes (e.g 2pm etc)?
I "work" over the Christmas/NY break because it means I can come in wearing casual clothes, start at 10, pretend to work a little, leave at 3pm.
I've got a live deal on over the next week, but that's not going to change the routine that much.
You may get a reply if the guy is in the office and using the time to clear out unimportant stuff, like your e-mail. But maybe he just can't be arsed and will spend the time surfing the internet and doing more important things, which is likely pretty much everything else he's been putting off all year.
Would it be rude to email someone below him if he continues to not respond?
It's kind of time sensitive.
