Do I mention that I already accepted a position?

This summer I will be interning at a search fund, but prior to accepting I reached out to a middle market M&A advisory IB. They asked me to set up a call this week, but I feel like it would be wise to be direct and let them know off the bat that I already have summer employment. Should I bring it up in the responding email or look for an opportunity to present it more organically over the phone? I would like to try and network with this firm at the very least for future opportunities, and I see this as my one opportunity as I don't know anyone who works there.

Nope. Is this internship unpaid?

If it is then this isn't the "proper" thing to do then I would just say I have an offer already and leave it at that unless they press further....then say it's at a search fund, then say it's not paid in that order as they press.

Yes, just mention it in an email. Assuming you're a sophomore, tell them you'd still be willing to talk to them about coming onboard for an internship next year or if you're a junior mention that you'll see what happens this summer and potentially reach back out if you decide to go through recruiting again for full time.
