Whether it’s asking right after getting an offer “what’s the rank/prestige/exits of said firm” or asking “should I lie about SAT score in follow up email” do people who post after an interview essentially dox themselves and blow their cover? I guess you can’t be 100% sure but it seems like you would have a pretty good idea. Anyone have stories about knowing candidates who post suspiciously right after interview?

It's definitely best to stay fairly anon on here... don't think everyone in the industry is watching but word travels fast especially if there's any negative connotations
if you work in a tiny group and it's suddenly getting posted about, or someone's saying "I had an interview on XYZ day with Y group and talked about ABC" that is pretty obvious

Because businesses plan for the long-term and don’t want to waste resources on temporary employees if they can help it. If that’s beyond normal thinking for you, perhaps you’re in the wrong industry.
