Quick question: I’ve never been in IB so I have no idea so I’m curious. If you have multiple live deals constantly over 24 months, do you get used to 5 hours of sleep a night? I’m not talking about the 3 hours nights, I don’t think anyone (maybe Van Gogh) could get used to that. I’m just talking about the super busy 100 hour weeks, not necessarily the 120+ hour weeks.

When I first started, my first week of 2am every night for a week had me exhausted by the weekend. About a year or so in, 2am felt pretty easy and had plenty of 3am, 4am or all-nighters. Not saying this is any sort of flex because working these hours is insane, but you do get used to it over time.
After an all nighter, how late would you stay the following day?
