Do You Need Law Background for RX / Distressed?
Incoming SA interested in RX / Distressed. I have no interest in getting a JD or pursuing Law closely; I just think the distressed environment and solutions are far more interesting than M&A / traditional PE. If I want to specialize in the distressed space, will not having that legal expertise be a barrier?
As an SA, you don’t need to have an “expertise” on the legal side of things.
It would be helpful to understand the basics tho.
