Does Evercore/Lazard/Guggenheim Drug test for marijuana( NYC)
I have an internship with one of the firms listed, and I've been scheduled to take a drug test. The state I'm currently in, doesn't have legal marijuana. I understand that a legislation passed about a year ago in NY that firms can't drug test for marijuana if they work in certain categories, but that doesn't cover federally linked companies. I'm not sure if the firm qualifies or not. Am I okay or should I start preparing for when they send the marijuana police after me, and I'm forced to live my days giving blow jobs in the back office.

Most banks are ramping up their drug testing this year compared to last 2 years. Did not get drug tested for my SA at an EB last year, but am getting drug tested for FT.
This also explains this increased number of "am I screwed for smoking weed" posts on WSO in the last month or so

The federal stuff only applies if you are REQUIRED by federal law to be drug tested for the position (i.e. you're a CIA agent, or work for the federal government, who happens to be in NYC)
Pretty much every large firm has federal links in some way so that would be a massive loophole. No IBs in NYC test for weed.
