I interned /will soon work for one of the named companies and just received onboarding email directing new hires from outside the US on how to apply for a US SSID and become sponsored by the firm. So pretty sure they sponsor. Lol. Also unfamiliar with the term but I assume you’re referring to SF/West Coast. I’m NYC based but the rules don’t change coast by coast (at least not as far as I’m aware)
