Easier to transfer to Goldman Sachs than being there entry level?

Just like how some colleges are easier to transfer into than getting accepted as a freshmen, is it easier to transfer into Goldman Sachs from a job working in a similiar field in a different company than just working there straight out of college in entry level? If you transfer as a 3rd year analyst, will Goldman give you their 3rd year analyst work and pay you a 3rd year analyst salary?
