EECS @ Berkeley to IB/Consulting

Was recently admitted to EECS @ Cal.  Rejected from ivies+stanford.

At the time of application, I was set on doing something stem(cs or ee related) which is why i applied cs and ee everywhere.  however, i've been thinking more and more of doing consulting or banking.  ik cal is a target for west coast but i'm extremely scared of the cutthroat and competitive environment in the club culture there for business and consulting. plus, i'm not in haas.

are mbb or bb opps realistic from berkeley eecs and not haas? is it worth applying in two years to berkeley haas, bc then i would have to start the recruiting process late.  any advice would be appreciated.
