Employment Gap?
Wrapping up 2nd year at a comically sweaty MM IB group (every night up until 2-4am, working through every weekend). Only ~10% of the 2nd years out of the group have buyside offers — others have been too swamped to prep and recruit. Complete nightmare.
I’m feeling stuck and need advice on the implications of leaving post-bonus, even without another role lined up. Has anyone been in the same boat? Would taking a leave of absence post-bonus be the best alternative? Curious how others have managed and appreciate any advice.
