Energy IB

I have an interview with a MM bank for IB analyst within their energy group. This is a new sector for me as I previously have IB internship experience in another group at an IB. Can someone share if energy ib technicals are same as O&G or are the the traditional IB 400 questions?

I would appreciate any help as I really need to ace this.

they’re pretty different. If you look oil and gas guides, M&I has a good one on Energy IB. Common questions include naming companies in different sectors (upstream, midstream, downstream, OFS), walking interviewer thru a NAV for an upstream company, which ones are most volatile, etc). Knowing the market and being invested in energy is necessary to landing it. Goodluck
