ESSEC Msc Finance 2-Year Program In France VS. ESCP MiM

I'm an Italian student  fluent in English but I don't speak French and I have to choose between these 2 offers.

I'm not 100% sure to chose IB over strategic consulting and the option to do a gap year at escp it's very reassuring form a number of occasion point of view. On the other hand a more quantitative program as ESSEC could be only a plus even for MBB and the MiF is a more esclusive program to get into.
My really long term goal is PE.

I did one internships as data management team for an insurance company (listed)

If someone has any advise on the current placement and prospective of the 2 programs

Thank you for your help!

This is a recurring question so I'll answer it as a French person.

If you have no finance experience and the possibility to join a MiM/Programme Grande École do it.

You'll have the possibility to do several internships and try to apply to summer internships several times.

No one cares about your academic curriculum vs the name of your school and if you want to be competitive in Europe you'll need internship.

I can guarantee you that the MiM/PGE of escp is superior vs ESSEC MiF (but ESSEC PGE > ESCP PGE). Unless you have financial constraints, go for ESCP.
