Ethics Of Asking Friends For Family Introductions?
I am currently trying to build out a network for an entry into IB, and I wanted you guys' advice on asking for introductions.
My good friend recently told me that her uncle was in "banking", and when I looked him up it turned out this guy was MD at several BBs in my country. She says she can introduce me to him if I like, but I wonder what he would think about that. She says they are very close, but I am still not sure as to what his opinion would be on me approaching him like this.
What do you guys think? Should I go for it?
