No, it's not harder. But as a boutique they tend to favor people with finance educational background or previous work experience. Very strong shop.
Awesome shop. My roommate from college is an Evercore alum. He worked crushing hours but was heavily recruited after his program was up.
I was told that Evercore hired 6 analysts last year but was doing so well they were looking for more analysts later and ended up with 8 or so. Could be wrong, has anyone else heard the same?
