Is it still worth it to apply? I know the interview process started long ago with many already signing offers, so just trying to get some insight into whether or not I should even try.

The immediacy on these threads are very misleading. Mass-hysteric FOMO. My advice: frequent these threads LESS, so that your temporal gauge isn’t out of wack.
EVR isn’t close to being finished, across all groups, except RX (div & non-div). So, definitely apply NOW. I have friends DIV receiving 1st rounds this very week. Non-div will kick out in the next 2 weeks to March’s end.
In my estimation, given the slight acceleration in the process this year, EVR will be “offers out” early April/end of March.

would you still say it's worth it to spend time trying to network if you have a ~3.5/3.6 gpa?
Yes, my GPA is in the same ball park. I networked and got 1st rounds at all the EBs.
