how does prestige of evercore m&a compare between the menlo tech group and ny groups? have heard that both are phenomenal but NY tends to exit to top MF whereas the menlo group tends to exit to growth sf/tech buyout.

Did you get a super for one of those locations? Asking because I’m waiting to hear back.

If you did get a super, you should try hard no matter what the exits are. Both groups are phenomenal. I think the reason MP tends to exit differently is because of location, or because of personal preference. People who recruit for SF/MP over NY do it because they love tech, so they likely want to stay in tech, hence the tech-based exits.

It’s also harder to recruit for, say, normal PE in NY when you’re in SF because you can’t exactly go talk to a NY recruiter on your lunch break.
