I would like to know more about Exclusive Sales. Does anyone have experience within an Exclusive Sales group? Typical responsibilities of an analyst in this group, experiences working in/with this group, opinions of this group,etc. is this any different from divestitures/corporate sales?

i google'd exclusive sales and it seems to related to sell-side transactions of companies/assets. what else am i missing?

are most of these deals sales of PE portfolio companies?
A lot of the time it will consist of selling PE portfolio companies or running auctions for smaller companies. Really good way to set up relationships with sponsors and to drive that part of the business.
However, as an analyst, working on 100-500M sell side mandates aren't all that exciting.
with the surge in PE money, it sounds like this would be a big driver for the bank, what about if/when PE business begins to drive up?
