Facial hair in IB in Europe ?

Noob question, but from what I know facial hair is a no go for IB, but because most things I read online relates to WallStreet or American culture, does it applies to Europe too, and to which extend ?

I look like ass without facial hair, what to do?

Probably because you looked like shit. Your MD was doing you a favor, looking like a NYC rat on a client call.

What the hell is wrong with you.

What a sad, insecure, rude comment.

Also this was not specific to me as this MD would tell any analyst with facial hair off. I guess it depends on the person but I found a lot of senior people in London in finance think facial hair is unprofessional - I know it's old school and nonsense but that's what I've seen from my experience.
