Finance carreers study organization

Hello guys, this is my first post and I would like to ask you something. How do you organize and select finance related study topics to keep technically evolving?

I don't know if my question was clear so I would give an explanation: I'm working at a MM boutique as an intern in a developing country and we all know that today we have daily access to a huge amount of information about any topic. Additionally, we also know that finance carreers like IB you have a myriad of hard and soft skills which are important to learn, improve and master.

That said and connecting those two points, how to filter and select the most important topics to study considering opportunity costs? It's usual to me to find a time to study and reduce my gaps, but every time this happens I find myself confuse about deeply studying accouting, finance and other technically stuff or trying to improve my social and soft skills. I know that there isn't a right path, but how to improve decision-making in these cases, identify what is better to study and use that idleness more efficiently?
