What Internship to Aim For? For First-Year Summer and Resume Review
Hi everyone, I'm a first-year at a non-ivy target interested in finance (IB, PE, etc). Recently completed a search fund internship over the summer and am currently doing a startup sourcing/diligence internship at a small VC firm and am part of a non-university student managed investment fund (basically a club)
I failed to get in any of the finance clubs at my school, but will try again next cycle.
Main Questions:
1. How does my resume look?
2. Judging on my past/current experience, what type of internships should I be targeting for my first-year summer? Are these roles going to be more cold-emailing/networking with smaller firms oriented?
