Consensus is that FSG has the chillest life style and best culture at JPM
I heard the middle market group is ripping rn????
How are the exits? UMM/MM PE?
Priv credit, corporate banking
Would Mid Cap exit into MM/UMM PE be impossible?
Both groups are decent.
Large Cap FSG team is more chill but harder to find a spot as a senior bankers as all the large funds are already covered. Decent for exits to PE. WLB for juniors is good. Comp is decent but not M&A levels.
Mid Cap is similar but exits are generally to clients in MM PE. Group is also a bit sweater as its more volume based.
Overall, both are good starts if you're looking to get a PE spot.
any info on recent exits from the large cap group?
.
Would doing CCBSI in FI or Mid-cap FSG be better interns of exits into PE or even lateral to IB?
