Say an intern was able to get a return from a regional office(LA, HOU, CHI), what's the process like to recruit full-time to NY or SF? Does the intern have to start networking prior to the SA?

hard to understand what you're asking. did you get a return offer from one of those places? If so, the offer would be for the respective region, because it's usually by group.
If you don't take the return offer/didn't get one, then start networking with people in different locations.

Yea, so I'm going to be an intern next summer at one of those regional offices. If I were to get a return offer, and wanted to recruit for a full-time position in NY / SF, would I have to start networking prior to even starting the SA since full-time recruiting runs by so quickly?
