General Question - Bonuses and salary?
I'm new to all of this, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
I keep seeing topics about 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year analyst bonus/salary. Lets assume you start working in the summer of 2009 and your first bonus is at the end of the year. Is this considered a 1st year analyst bonus (even though you're only there for 6 months)? Also, are you considered a 2nd year analyst in Jan 2010? Summer 2010? Jan 2011? And what bonus would then be considered your 2nd year bonus?
Thanks for your help as this has confused me.
It's pretty simple - your 1st bonus as an analyst will be your 1st year bonus. Your 2nd bonus will be your 2nd year bonus. And so on.
You're considered a 1st year analyst until you are there for a year. Comon bro, learn how to count.
I think analyst bonuses are received in the summer as well, so it's more or less exactly after one year.
