I go to a non target in Albany and I've been trying to find opportunities in the area to gain some finance related experience so far I've come across to small public finance offices. Jefferies and Baird.
I have one alumni that is an SVP at Jefferies in NYC but she has yet to respond to me so I don't have an in to either of these offices so I tried looking up people on linkedin unfortunately the profiles for Baird are completely out of my network and I can't even see the first name let alone last initial.
Any suggestions on how to find contact information for these people?
what you have to do with linked in is to google the keywords from someone's profile along with the word 'linkedin'. if you access a profile through google, you can usually see their full name.
Talk to your school’s career center. They might have a list of alumni working in finance in the area. Also talk to friends and older classmates studying finance. If you are close with any professors you can ask them, too.
