Ghosted by Recruiter After Interview?
Hi All.
I'm getting ghosted by a recruiter after interviewing for an off-cycle internship at a small shop (not a bank). I followed up by email 3 times over the last 4 weeks with my interviewer, and my interview also went really well; the guy was impressed with my knowledge, we got along really well (we spoke for about an hour), and at the end he literally said "we'll get you set up with some round 2 interviews by the end of the week and get you started working in January". That was 4+ weeks ago. I'm getting no response to my emails.
I'm really upset. What should I do? Any advice is appreciated. Is it a good idea to continue following up?
I was in a similar situation. After two months and few follow up emails, the analyst told me on whatsapp it wasn't about my interview performance rather the fact they changed the structure inside the team and the new boss thought an intern wasn't necessary... Hope it's going to be different in your case
