Got a job 2 months ago, how should I thank people who helped me out?

I got a job as an AM Investment Analyst about 2 months ago after a lot of networking. I kept delaying sending thank you emails to people who helped me out, and now I figure I should really send them. Whats the best way to do this? Here's my template so far:

Subject: Recruiting Update

Hi [name],

Hope all is well! I just wanted to thank you again for your time and advice during the recruiting process, it was really valuable. I also recently got a job as an investment analyst at [AM fund] and will be starting in July.

Hope to stay in touch,

[my name]

ffallI think you should personalize it by describing how they helped you, and mention that you are very happy with this position.

+1

What you have plus that, but don't suck their dick or make it cheesy. Ball out.

When a plumber from Hoboken tells you he has a good feeling about a reverse iron condor spread on the Japanese Yen, you really have no choice. If you don’t do it to him, somebody else surely will. -Eddie B.
