GPA Analysis: Please Give Me Advice About Considerations

Hi Everybody,

I will be working FT as an investment banking analyst for a respected group.

I am in a class right now and am considering withdrawing (W). I have run an analysis on my GPA possibilities, and this is what it looks like:

Withdraw Upside Case: 3.93 Base Case: 3.91

No Withdraw Upside Case: 3.87 Base Case: 3.85 Downside Case: 3.84

Base Case Comparisons Withdraw: 3.91 No Withdraw: 3.85

Looking at these numbers, and assuming both Base Cases play out, do you think the delta of 0.6 (3.91 vs 3.85) would materially impact my admissions into an M7 MBA program? On my transcript it would show either 13 A's, 6 A- OR 12 A's, 6 A-, 1 B. To add more color, I am a white male from an upper tier semi-target (target depending on region).

Thanks for your advice. I have until Friday to withdraw.

Note: If I have to retake the class, it will most likely cost me $3,000-4,000 in addition to the time (Friday class from 930am-1230pm).
