Sad if true.  

Would be curious how someone manages to sweep that under the rug.  Having a small firm helps a bit but Greenhill isn't that small.  

This is more of a unique situation, because there isn't outrage directed at Greenhill. It was more related to personal/health issues, so we've been compelled to respect his privacy.

Crazy if true. It's known that RX analysts at GHL are worked to the bone, although it comes with good exits

This is true. They've done a good job of scrubbing his online presence off the internet. He cited a pre-existing health condition causing immense pain in a note he left behind, but I'm sure the job didn't help either. Work-wise, the entire firm hasn't been busy for the past year, think this is a bit different from say a BofA situation.
