GS Growth - Interview
Anyone know any information on what it's like to interview with the GS Growth team?
For anyone who doesn't know: As announced in June 2019, a number of the investing groups across the firm (Goldman Sachs Growth Equity, Principal Strategic Investments, and Private Capital Investing) have combined to form the GS Growth team.
They are Goldman's Growth Equity team investing in Fintech, Software, Consumer & Healthcare and the team sits within the firm's Merchant Banking Division (MBD). Does anyone have any experience interviewing with the Growth team specifically? What should people prepare for? Case studies? LBOs (they do have the flexibility to do control transactions, but haven't seen too many out of this arm)? Modeling tests? IB Technicals? General VC questions (e.g. what companies should we invest in, which areas are interesting to you)?
Was this through a recrutier, or through GS 'early careers'
