Does anyone know what the GS Miami office does? Is it just PWM or are there other business functions?

Yes. They are primarily PWM. If there are any other groups in there possibly asset allocation, they are extremely small. They tend to deal with latin american clients primarily, so foreign languages is a must for that office.
they would be really interested if you speak Brazilian portuguese. Supposedly one a couple of employees speak it, but their client base from the region continues to grow fast.
