Harris Williams Richmond vs LMM NYC Boutique ?

Curious what yall would pick? Firm wise HW is much better obv in all aspects, but the NYC location seems hard to turn down since there's likely room to lateral up in the city if needed.

Its unfortunate because your life will likely tank a bit (if you like big city), but otherwise I’d still say Richmond.

People care far more about the firm, deal experience, and performance than the city where you worked. Harris Williams has a strong brand nationally, and recruiters know Richmond is its headquarters.

Also a small but overlooked consideration is that HW will likely have a substantially higher amount of alums and laterals. Maybe the exception being that you have really strong NYC school alums.
